PhD students enrolled at the department

All PhD students at the department need to apply for a prolongation of their position and to fill out a revised study plan each year. For students with external financing, there is an opportunity to apply for faculty funding from Uppsala University each spring (typically March). More information will be posted here in the beginning of each yearl

 

Prospective students

The department typically announces open positions in March/Aprilpril each year, but details about the specific positions and the procedure will be posted here in the beginning of each yearl

 

For information about open PhD positions during other times of the year, contact the research group leaders in biochemistry or organic chemistry, or the professors responsible for PhD studies in biochemistry or organic chemistry.

 

To be eligible you need to have an undergraduate degree in chemistry or biochemistry.

 

To formally apply for a PhD position, fill in the application form, and send it together with a CV, transcripts of your degrees and other relevant documentation to the department secretary, or as specified in the announcement.
